Armed PKK Fighters Might Join Their Iranian and Syrian Affiliates

Resulting from Turkey-PKK Ongoing Peace Talks
Turkish government and Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) appear to be close to an agreement in their ongoing peace talks that would let PKK fighters keep their weapons if they leave Turkey, presumably to join their Iranian and Syrian Kurdish fighters, Today’s Zaman reported.

“The possibility that PKK terrorists may withdraw from Turkey without disarming could disturb Iran,” said Bayram Sinkaya, an Iranian expert at Ankara’s Beyazit University. (Today’s Zaman, 13 April)
Sinkaya added that the Party of Free Life of Kurdistan (PJAK), OKK-linked Iranian militants, could enormously benefit from PKK armed fighters joining their ranks. PJAK is based in Iraqi Kurdistan and can operate across the border in Iranian Kurdistan. A fragile cease-fire between Iran and PJAK has been observed for more than a year now.
Sinkaya said that if armed PKK fighters join them it might lead to new conflicts between Iran and PJAK. The arrival of PKK fighters would provide “fresh blood” for PJAK, he said.

Meanwhile, as the talks on settlement process with the PKK continue, some of the fighters with ties to Syria have already started to enter Syria.

“A significant number of PKK terrorists of Syrian origin have withdrawn, and they have gone to Syria,” Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said last week. (Today’s Zaman, 13 April)

Iran is chic indeed. On a more sobering note, PJAK the so-called Kurdish terrorist group in Iran has no support as most Kurds are well integrated in Iran for several centuries. The Turkish Kurdish groups will never disarm and will continue their freedom campaign against the repressive Turkish government despite US/Zionist pressure on them to ease-up on Ankara and create problems for Iraq and Iran. The Kurds have historically picked the losing side and are famous for switching sides like the French and Italians. Iran can not be pressured anyway since its Kurdish minority is integrated and too small. Iran has taken enough steps to ensure peace and safety in the region anyway.

You have to understand that Mullahs are islamic because they are anti-iranian - not the other way around; Islam is not the cause of their anti-iranian instintct - it is the consequence of that - remember that !

Look here: they have banned Ferdowsi in Iran for 6 years; this has nothing to do with Israel, America: this is their animal instinct

I know that Uskowi is protecting you by allowing your imbecile comments on this blog.

It looks like the people in greater need of medication are the mullahs and their net blogging minions.

You are correct, these pea-brain Iran-hating imbeciles post daily off-topic drivel that adds ZERO value to the blog or a rational discussion. They are too shallow and largely illiterate to post a rational intellectual retort in proper English syntax. I have deduced that most of the US-Tehrangelis based rif-raf just post delusional one liners that their hasbara masters have paid for. It is the same trend on other Iranian focused blogs too. At least Uskowi tries to steer the posts towards the topic. I find it rather bizarre that these one-dimensional anti-Iran dimwits think that their disjointed rants would make any difference to Iran or the government's policies. The idea behind blogs is to share or promote viewpoints based on some lucid pattern not rants or wishful thinking for 34 years. THE FACT IS THAT THE ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF IRAN with warts and all is HERE TO STAY as it epitomizes the wishes of the silent and vast majority of Iranians. If the IRI was not popular it would simply not have lasted over three decades and prospered despite all obstacles and enemies. IRAN PAYENDEBAD.

Live in your delusions and wishful thinking that the Islamic regime is supported by the "silent and vast majority of Iranians". Is that why IRGC and basij armed thugs are guarding every street corner of Iran's cities because the regime is so popular :o)
