Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) chief Fereidoon Abbasi
announced that his agency will begin operating Arak nuclear reactor in the
coming Iranian new year 1392, which begins on 21 March. (Mehr News

Arak is a heavy-water 40-megawatt research reactor. Abbasi said the reactor's chamber has already been built and AEOI will soon start installing equipment.

No, its's a 40MW (thermal) heavy water reactor.
