Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez Dies at 58

Populist Politician and A Revolutionary
President Hugo Chavez died today after losing a long and hard fought battle with cancer. He was 58.

The former paratroop commander and populist politician waged continual battle for his socialist ideals, winning re-election three times.

Chavez was one of the closest allies of the Islamic Republic at the world stage and had visited Tehran on a number of occasions.

In a memorable interview with The Associated Press in 2007, he called himself “a subversive revolutionary.”

“I'm still a subversive,” the late president told AP, recalling his days as a rebel soldier. “I think the entire world has to be subverted.”

Chavez ceased being president on Jan 10, when he was unable to return to Venezuela and take the oath of office as constitutionally required.

no way of telling what's gonna happen in Venezuela, 7:16. Chavez's minions are, as of now, still running the place.

Glory to Hugo Chavez who took care of the poor people and their dignity, over complaints of golf players and servants of the "western justice with their human rights"...

Thanks for his sympathy and close cooperation for the well being of the Iranian nation.
He as a prominent Leader, was not afraid to profess his beliefs in the existence of the God...

The Vice President, Nikolas Maduro - who was annointed By Hugo Chavez as a his successor - stated that the historical enemies of the country sought for a weak spot to harm the health of the President, Hugo Chavez.

Mr. N. Maduro also informed that in due time, a scientific commision will be formed to certify whether President Chavez was attacked with the illness, he was suffering for almost two years...

I thought Jimmy Carter’s tribute to Chavez was as fair and as objective as
it could get. He said “Chavez will be remembered for his bold assertion of autonomy and independence for Latin American governments."

Yeah he had so much "sympathy" towards the Iranian nation he allowed the export of cocaine into Iran.Shows how much "sympathy" and "well being" he had towards young Iranians.

Maduro is a cretinous and dishonest lickspittle and any commission that he forms will be instructed at the outset as to what conclusions to publish, Awfully Foolish.
