Iran Dismisses IAEA’s Request for Access to Parchin

To Be Addressed Within Wider Agreement

Iran on Tuesday dismissed a request by IAEA chief Yukiya Amano to swiftly access Parchin military base, saying the issue should be addressed in a wider agreement with the agency.

“Our cooperation with (IAEA) will continue to its already established framework of cooperation,” said Iran’s foreign ministry spokesman Ramain Mehmanparast. He added Iran was seeking to reach “a comprehensive agreement… which clearly recognizes our rights and also addresses their concerns.” (Al-Manar News, 5 March)

“Talks between Iran and the agency are moving in a positive direction, but there are steps that should be taken by two parties,” said Mehmanparast.

Meanwhile, Iranian foreign minister, Ali Akbar Salehi, who was visiting Najaf, told reporters there that the latest round of talks with P5+1 “has yielded positive results.” (Al-Manar, 5 March)

There is no doubt that the images of the Zionist of the U.S./Israel/Allies could be clearly seen in the soya bean-shaped face of Amano.
