No Dates for Iran Nuclear Talks – But EU Hopes for Next Round Soon

The European Union said no date has been fixed for further talks on Iran's nuclear program, while hoping they will be soon. Earlier today, Iran’s chief nuclear negotiator Saeed Jalili had said Iran had accepted that the talks with the six major world powers be held in late January.

“Senior officials from the EU and Iran spoke on December 31 to discuss the next round of negotiations, which we hope will happen soon,” Michael Mann, a spokesman for EU foreign affairs chief Catherine Ashton, told Reuters today. (Reuters, 4 January)

There will be no deal until IRI holds on to ist anti-American view; you have to be very stupid to miss this very simple reference Point; Khamenei knows that he has no democratic future inside Iran if he abandons his anti-American view; that is the reason for his refusal; it is ironic: he Needs America to accept his Right to enrichment because that deal would confer on him a legitimacy which he is lacking otherwise inside of Iran; so that is his Basic underlying contradiction/lie; he wants to hold on to his anti-Ameerican view while he is dependet on American Goodwill to legitimize his view which is anti-American; you see how stupid that is ...

Well, Ahmadinejad is one of the few who want to re-establish ties with the U.S. & EU and have give it a chance to have a relationship with the West. As has been stated many times in interviews'. Sadly he can't decide on such matters.
