Israel Will ‘Regret’ Attacking Syria – Iran Official


During a meeting today with Syrian Grand Mufti Sheikh Ahmad Badreddin Hassoun in Tehran, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili said the Israeli regime would “regret attacking Syria.”

“Military action against Syria would be a bitter disappointment for Israel,” said Jalili. (IRNA/Press TV, 31 January)

The Iranian official described Iran’s support for Syria as “unwavering.”

Well it seems they haven't been upset much in their latest military action against them, have they ? though i have no love for either the Iranian regime or its Zionist foe, facts are what they are, and no amount of talking is going to change this latest humiliation Syria has suffered from the IDF. So unless they finally come up with some concrete retaliative action, they should definitely refrain from making repeated comments about the issue, no matter how heated, since it will only contribute to destroy whatever is left of their credibility on that matter.
