Iran, Six Major Powers Meet in Vienna

Implementation of Geneva Agreement
A new round of talks between Iran and the six major world powers is due to begin today in Vienna. The two-day expert-level meeting is aimed at devising mechanisms to implement the interim agreement signed in Geneva on 24 November by Iran and the P5+1.

The Iranian delegation will be headed by Hamid Baeidinejad, the Director General for Political and Legal Affairs at the Iranian Foreign Ministry, and will also include experts from the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) and the Central Bank of Iran (CBI).

Iran and the IAEA will also meet on Wednesday to discuss Sunday’s inspection of Arak heavy water production plant by IAEA inspectors and to schedule the inspection of Gachin uranium mine.
