Update: IqAAC Mil Mi-171E, serial 415 now said to be brought down 03FEB15 by technical fault and not shootdown by MANPADS by ISIL. (Title of post corrected to reflect revised claim.)

Recent photo of an Iraq Army Aviation Command (IqAAC) Mil Mi-171E helicopter at Samarra, said to be shot down by ISIL-operated MANPADS.

This IqAAC Mil Mi-171E appears to be one of those batched-delivered sometime in 2011.
