There is an interesting open-source study by Hisham Ashkar based on public Hezbollah military funerals, that serves as an indicator of Hezbollah  KIAs incurred during its armed intervention in the ongoing Syrian conflict. What an incredible tragedy for the civilian population in Syria. This armed conflict is reminiscent of the Iraq-Iran war in that there is no end in sight. There will be offensive after offensive and battle after battle, but with little to show for except a tremendous loss of life and treasure.

no!- i beg to differ - the war is heading to its sunset days thanks to some very important events that this blog seems to hide or show open disdain on every event that pertains to some sort of victory on the side of Assad and allies.
