Iran Nuclear Expert Assassinated

Bomb Kills Official of Natanz Uranium Enrichment Facility

Iran VP Accuses Israel

Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan, a nuclear expert and a director at Natanz Uranium Enrichment Facility was assassinated in Tehran when two assailants attached a magnetic bomb to the car he was riding on.

The attack occurred at 8:20 a.m. local time on Wednesday while he was driving on Shahid Golnabi Avenue. The two assailants were riding on a motorbike when they approached his car. Fars reported that they threw a bomb into the vehicle. But most reports indicate that the assailants attached a magnetic bomb to his Peugeot 405. The attack bore a strong resemblance to earlier killings of scientists working on the Iranian nuclear program (it was the fifth attack on nuclear experts in two years).

Iran’s First Vice President Mohammad Reza Rahimi said Israeli agents were behind the attack. He added that the Israelis cannot “prevent progress in Iran’s peaceful nuclear program.” [Fars News Agency, 11 January].

The late Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan was a chemical expert and worked as a director at Natanz. Fars News Agency reported that he was an authority in polymer filtration process, where the Hexafloride Uranium gas is filtered to remove Uranium 238 in order to extract the “enriched” Uranium 235.

I think that the Iranian regime is starting to kill its own lower level nuclear gurus to help keep oil prices high.

Wow.

The Iranians can't keep their fisherman safe at sea, or keep their most important scientists from being killed off...But boy, they know how to arrest young women for showing a little to much hair on their head!

Will his picture be shown all over the world like Neda?

"Will his picture be shown all over the world like Neda?"

Before you mention Neda go and wash your mouth.
Neda was murdered by a regime thug.

I strongly dislike the backward regime religious dictatorship we have but if the regime in Israel thinks killing our young scientists and citizens help them in future when this regime is gone, then they are surely mistaken. We will not forget anyone's crimes no matter where it is originated.

Haven't you for one minute thought that it could be the regime itself that murdered this scientist instead of Israel all the time?
Maybe the man knew something of importance and was top secret therefore regime disposed of him and then blames US/UK/Israel.

So far the regime removes its opponents by jailing , torture and execution. Removing nuclear scientists in such high public profile portrays a weak government and chaos; neither are good for the regime. Logic suggests that others with clear motives are responsible for these murders.
