The Iranian oil ministry announced today that Iran and Afghanistan have agreed to build a pipeline to facilitate the exports of Iranian oil products, including gasoil, jet fuel and gasoline to Afghanistan.

“With the construction of this pipeline, part of the energy needed by Afghanistan will be met with full guarantee and security,” said Ali Reza Zeighami, Iranian deputy oil minister. (IRNA, 6 November)
