High-Level IAEA Team to Visit Tehran

Iran Ready to Discuss Allegations of Nuclear Weapon Work

A senior IAEA team will visit Tehran on 28 January after the Iranian government said it was ready to discuss allegations that it was involved in secret nuclear weapons work. For more than three years Iran had refused to discuss intelligence reports by the US and other Western powers alleging covert work on nuclear weapon [AP, 12 January].

The IAEA summarized its body of information in November, in a document drawing intelligence provided by its member countries. It stated then for the first time that some of the alleged experiments could have no other purpose than developing nuclear weapons.

The visiting IAEA team would include Deputy Director General Herman Nackaerts, in charge of the Iran nuclear file, Assistant Director General Rafael Grossi, and Peri Lynne Johnson, the agency's senior legal official. Johnson is the only American among the three.

That is good news. The regime will back down from weapons program... good for Iranian people, good for the world. What choice? if regime continues toward weapon, the regime will be destroyed.

The regime will head towards weapons and don't buy into the IAEA visit because the regime believes weapons could save its ass but the exact opposite is true.
The atomic bomb is useless against the Iranian people and the regime will be soon gone.

You are wrong in your assessment!

Iran has no need of an atomic bomb, they have declared over and over again that they don't intend to build one, because it doesn't serve any purpose. What will they do with a single nuclear warhead? A single nuclear warhead is useless, (Zionist regime has a whole arsenal of Atomic bombs in all varieties).

The Iranians are not suicidal, as you imply. Besides the International community and the IAEA would discover any such activity before the assemblement of such a weapon even got started, and the Iranians know that it's impossible to keep the manufacturing of nuclear weapons secret.

The Iranians are not suicidal but the Islamic regime has a suicidal tendency for war.
All it takes is one Hezbollah commander in the Persian gulf to fire onto a US navy ship and then lead to war just like the incident in 2006 between Hezbollah and Israel but unlike then Iran won't win this one.
You say I am wrong in my assessment but I still say that the Islamic regime is leading Iran to destruction which would either way lead to the downfall of the Islamic regime with or without nuclear weapons.
