Iran excels in infrastructure and mega-construction projects. Iranian tunneling expertise and boring technology is in the world's top tiers. Thanks Mark, for these very interesting photos. Imagine the quality and durability of Iranian military strategic assets combined with its mountainous terrain. No wonder the impotent US/Zionist mutts kept on barking for 34 years.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has presented an advanced Iranian-made surgical navigation device to his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.

During a Tuesday meeting with Putin in the Russian capital, Moscow, the Iranian chief executive presented the device as a technological gift from the Islamic Republic to Russia.

The apparatus has been designed and developed by Iranian experts, and only a limited number of developed countries, including Germany and the United States, have the device’s know-how.

The system can be applied for sophisticated brain and ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat) operations with high precision. It also provides surgeons with a detailed environment by enabling them to observe microscopic images on the screen.

According to the latest statistics released by the Scopus database, Iran ranked 17th in terms of science production in the world in 2012 and fixed its top position in the region, above Turkey.

If you're going to cut-and-paste directly from the IRI's Press TV, then you should at least provide the original source:

Sweveral years ago, outgoing president Ahmadinejad had established the Iranian Tunnel Association.

After that, tens of miles undergroud tunnels, including subways, have been built, and the enemies of the Islamic Republic consider those achievements as a "wasted time".

To my best knowledge, there is a proverb that a miserable (performance) ballerina will blame on (point to) her uncomfortable underware (pants)...

Speaking of miserable performances by a Third World (chador-wearing) ballerina, here you go:

http://www.indexmundi.com/g/r.aspx?v=39

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_infant_mortality_rate

You want to blame the Islamists' tight turbans for their pathetic and miserable performances?

Iran has quite a few TBM in service

Who cares if Iran has "TBM". Tunnel boring technology is not exactly "new" and that TBM is not new either, nor was it built in Iran.

WTF are you guys getting so nationalistic about, it's a tunnel, get over it.

Anonymous said...

I hear your pain. We are having fun here bro. Even with low life expectancy and we won't let you in. So you can burn in the flames of anger. :)))))

Anon 3:04... Instead of getting all nationalistic against an un-nationalistic theocracy, they all start drooling over a tunnel boring machine.

Actually its not so much the machines but the impressive amount of public works that are taking place thanks to the government that gets peoples attention, even the attention of malcontents like yourselves, tho all you can do is try and [unsuccessfully] belittle it

"Here", bro? Are you going to pretend that you live in the Mollah Regime rather than in the West, bro?

The "Tunnel Association" the IRI formed is being used to siphon out gold and currency out the country.

Anonymous said...

I do. Would you like me to send you any kind of photograph proving that. Or, maybe I can call you from my Irancell mobile phone so that you would shut up!

Anonymous said...

Why would you try to shut anyone up? That is a very Mollah thing to do. Chill out and drink some zereshk juice! It might even help cool off your typical Islamist anger a little.

Yes Anon 11:12 or shall I say Mark Pyruz Ha Ha Ha Ha!
