Video clip of President Rouhani addressing IRGC

President Rouhani addresses what appears to be a less than enthusiastic audience of high ranking IRGC and Basij officers. By their own body english one gets the impression Rouhani was certainly not their first or even second choice for IRI president. As to the clip itself, Rouhani provides rhetoric expected from an IRI president to such an audience.

One also wonders how big a cut to the IRI defense budget the new administration has in store for the military.

Iran should privitize IRGC - the whole thing; they are free to make money as privat company and offer their capabilities to the market and they should make money in order to maintain themselves - that is what growing up means - no nanny state for them; if they make mistakes they should also be responsible for that; they should not make decisions for the iranian people; they should be responsible for themselves and their (national and international) clients and shareholders - not for others; so the free market is the solution in this case ....

And what defense cuts proposes Mr. Mark ??
Does he (Mark) prefers "links" to important speeches and "lots of colorful photolets" without links.
His boss almost published; at least, Obama's speech in full lengths...
