Salehi: EU Sanctions Will Not Have Long-term Effects

In the first official reaction to EU’s new sanctions against Iran, the Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi said the sanctions will not have significant effects on the country’s economy.

“Iran is a great country and the West’s sanctions cannot have significant effects on our economy,” Salehi told reporters in Baku during a visit to Azerbaijan.

This is true. As long as Iran has China and Russia it doesn't need Europe or the US.

Well, Syria believed also - like you - that it 'had' Russia and China behind its back; Syria lies now in ruin - and that is the direct result of their inapt thought processes such as in your case.

And Salehi: well, he is an Idiot - like always and like the rest of them ...

What qualifies you to use a word "idiot" on the person with a doctorate degree and an education from the us university..

I have heard there are others from the us universities on this blog, however they will not be able to reach that degree yet...and your ignorance.

dissident

Actually the source was Khomeini's little green book.
If you read his book you will see many quotes like that in it.
I highly recommend it.

I only read khomeini's book. I thought most of these books are copy/paste from prior books regulating daily lives of followers. It would be great if there was an online version or a verifiable source to link to. Otherwise it's too outlandish to post without proof (not that I don't believe you).

I agree with Dysentery that Salehi isn't an idiot.

He's an educated man and a liar.

Give examples not slogans.
Do you know any puppeteer on this blog?
