A passenger bus overturned on the Izeh-Lordegan road in southwestern Iran on Friday killing 26 female high school students, with 18 others seriously injured.
“Travelling at excess speeds on slippery roads was the cause of this accident," Col. Samad Esfandiari, a highway patrol official, said (ISNA, 20 October)
