Iran Official Claims Dozens of Iranian Drones Have Reached Israel

The Associated Press has quoted a senior Iranian military official as claiming that Iranian-made surveillance drones have made dozens of undetected flights into Israeli airspace from Lebanon in recent years to probe air defenses and collect reconnaissance data. Citing the official’s request to remain anonymous, AP did not identify the source.

The Iranian official has said Iranian drones made “dozens of flights over Israel” since the summer 2006 war between Hezbollah and Israel. He has also said Israeli defenses had been unable to detect the surveillance craft.

“The one that was shot down last week was not the first and will not be the last to fly into Israeli airspace,” the official said. (AP, 16 October)

An Israeli military spokesman has rejected the accounts, AP also reported.

It's one thing to say that Israel didn't disclose other downing of iranian drones, and another to say that there is a super duper iranian stealth drones that roam Isreal undetected.

The first "probable lie" would have been easier to believe than the second "very likely" lie.

Of course, the Iranians have super-fabulous unmanned aircraft. of course, they do.

it's just regular old civilian passenger aircraft that iran finds impossible to build and operate.

OF IRAN'S TECHNOLOGICAL PROWESS AND THE COMMON PREJUDICE!!.-in reply to USKOWI!.

It is very refreshing to predict someone.WE all knew that this blog would not allow its readers to learn about a glaring defense weakness on the part of ISRAEL.And it is hard grains for FAZZELI to chew, that a HEZBOLLAH drone made by IRANIANS could afford to beat high tech defense batteries to make an intrusion into Israel.
HOWEVER this is the DISCLOSED truth!

1-IRAN IS A TECHNOLOGICAL POWER,A PROUD MANUFACTURER OF HIGH TECH DEFENSE TOOLS.THIS HAS BEEN ACKNOWLEDGED BY EVEN ITS FOES.BUT WE KNOW THIS IS A 'LIE' TO SOME!! .WELL IRAN HAS A NOBLE WAY TO ANSWER SUCH CLASS OF PEOPLE-THE DRONE SUCCESS INTO ISRAEL IS JUST AN EXAMPLE!

2-IF YOU THOUGHT IRAN DO NOT DESERVE TO BE AMONG THE LEADING NATIONS IN DEFENSE TOOLS PRODUCTION,THEN ASK ITS ENEMIES THEY WILL BE SINCERE TO YOU.

3-MEANWHI8LE IRAN JOINS THE TOP FIVE NATIONS IN RADAR TECHNOLOGY AND PRODUCTION!.IS IT NOT WHAT HAS KEPT THE GANGS OF WAR [NATO] TO BEHAVE?and back off from their planed missions on IRAN?.

So much for Iron Dome's so-called aura of invincibility.

BMA is obviously more zealous than informed. iran is not a leading military power nor a leading technological power.

it is a lovely place with a great past, a lot of oil and a great many pretensions to an importance that is, in reality, absent.

The second sentence of your comment
- "it is lovely place....with many pretensions to an importance...that is...absent"

is a good example of the enemies' "serene" wishes.

Without the sanctions and the sabotage, Iran could earlier send its humans into the space.
Regardless of any adversary predictions, an Iranian manned mission into the space will happen earlier, than any delusions about the Islamic Republic's demise would be still alive.

of course, Dyssie, it's always someone else's fault that Iran hasn't risen to the rank of a first-rate power.....

just as it's someone else's fault that Iran is no longer able to feed all its citizens from Iranian-grown and raised foodstuffs.... and it's someone else's fault that the Iranian regime is leading the nation into deepening isolation and world-wide disrepute,

I see that you are hidden behind an Anon, and it looks like that you try to be not recognizable and accountable, for what you said in the past or before.
Apparently you may have also another emotional problem, as reflected by usage of the word "Dyssie", because you have been waiting for your goal's fulfilment too long time and it doesn't come through.

Therefore, I am going to ask you, when do you expect the Islamic Republic to crumble (collapse or be deafeted)- and be replaced by a western oriented and accepted government, so I could verify your predictions at that time?

My evaluation of the situation, in the light of your hypocritical allegations is that:
The capitalist governments do not feed all their people and the Iranian government doesn't collect taxes like capitalist ones do.

Iran has one of the lowest military expenditures per population in the ME and it has spent money on the industrial infrastructure, dams, roads, subways, tunnels etc.
Despite of sanctions, the war and sabotages, Islamic Republic managed to educate thousands of high class scientists and develop kinds of an armament, which is feared by the mightest enemies in the world...

Iran has scarce arable lands in comparison to other countries, so it was profitable to import some food commodities from other countries in the past.

Because you and other complainers doesn't like a socialism, then the rest of responsibilities, as an advanced food processing and overall agriculture, should be carried out by enterprenuers, who instead of, use to complain and speculate with currencies and foreign merchandise...or educate their children in foreign countries.

Despite those obstacles the Islamic Republic is about to achieve a first stage of an victory, because the war haven't materialized before the US elections, like many of you wished and the best time for an attack, like many anticipated, was missed and Iran have gained an additional time to advance its defensive preparadness..

If you are not able to describe your predictions when the Islamic Republic will crumble, I can tell you that the next year of the Islamic Republic's existence will mark a second stage of the victory and the third and one of the final stages will be a lifting of sanctions, by at least one major superpower.

I've no idea when the Iranian regime will crumble. I expect it to endure a while and reform before crumbling rather than to retain its present set of vile policies and treatment of its citizens.

should it continue on the present path, it won't last out the decade.

if it attempts to assemble nuclear weapons, it won't last six months beyond assembly.
should Iran give up the weapons program and allow inspection, then I agree that sanctions will ease.

Iran has too reasonable and logical leadership to fortify the West, with its PRETEXT, and consider an "assembly" or production of nuclear weapons at this stage of confrontation.

I disagree with your characterization of the "..vile policies...", because that kind of policies are induced by a necessity to defend Islamic Republic against foreign interference, war, sabotages and terrorism.
There were previous reformers; like Mr Khatami and others, who anticipated and tried to initiate reforms and they were ridiculed and rejected by the West.

I suspect that significant removal of sanctions will not happen until the West abandons its conspiracy to destroy Islamic Republic under the Pretext of WMD.

The inspections, you mentioned about, are intented by the West to continue without an end and serve as a form of espionage, harassment and blackmail for other concessions like surrender of the PG's islands to Arabs, surrender of rights to the part of Caspian Sea and a creations of many autonomous regions like that one, for the Kurds in Iraq... including their rights to separation !!

Thanks for your comment and avoiding personally offensive languages.

I do not feel that the IRI will be defeated or that it may take next decade to happen.
I still insist that the period of the next 2013 year, will be crucial and the most important to the Islamic Republic's victory.

Dyssie, strangling to death people convicted of homosexuality, arresting government functionaries on ludicrous charges of "sorcery", torturing to death prisoners, including a woman working for a Canadian newspaper, and valuing the legal testimony at less than the value of a man's are vile policies that don't do a dang thing to defend iran against "foreign interference, war, sabotages and terrorism".

please stop attempting to make inane excuses for vile actions from the theocracy. ... you'll stop sounding so unadult when you cease.

It is one of the enemies' strategies, during aggressions, to divert attention to other problems or allegations, that serve as the smokescreens.

Ask others to mingle with you and do, on the Google, an reading about description of the intellectual masturbation; if you still have intellectual abilities.
