You have a point to a certain extent, but lot of our equipment is outdated.Take the air force or our tanks,90 percent of that equipment dates before the revolution.
So you have to ask yourself besides the few missiles that we have where has all the money gone too?

When the day arrives they will need thicker armor.

You can fight some of the people some of the time but you can't fight all of the people all of the time!

They will not need a thicker armour, because they outnumber you by numbers taken from just one photo, included with the article.
On the other hand those soldiers are much more handsome than all of you.

These very same men will end up killing Khameini and his henchmen because they will side with the majority of people!

These same men you speak of sided with Khameini against the majority of people during 2009–2010 Iranian election protests. And if you think these men will switch sides and join the people in the next uprising then you're in for a rude awakening!
