Iran Has Been ‘Vaccinated’ Against Sanctions, Khamenei

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said today in Tehran that Iran has become immune to Western sanctions and won’t suffer.

“These days, Westerners are making a whole lot of noise regarding sanctions against Iran. They don’t understand that throughout the last 30 years they vaccinated the Iranian nation against sanctions,” Khamenei said.

“The Iranian nation in the past three decades stood against all the conspiracies and sanctions and made progress and now we are 100 percent stronger than 30 years ago,” Khamenei added.

the country is losing 40 billion in year and he does not care as long as he is in power and Iranian people, whose vote he robbed, should pay the price for his folly; what is indeed 'vaccinated' is his imbecile brain against any form of understanding and responsibility

This man has no idea in the suffering of the Iranian people.
If you can't eat bread let them eat cake as far as he is concerned.
The people have seen the true and rotten face of political Islam and now have been truly vaccinated against its lies and blusters.
It's going to be a hard struggle for freedom against the corrupt self righteous Islamic dictatorship which is occupying Iran. But out of that difficult struggle against fascist Islamic tyranny the Iranian people will emerge victories from the hands of the mullahs and their minions.
Behold the salvation of the nation from Iran's true enemies the Islamist occupiers is at hand.

The Iranian response to the economic war being directed against it remains Churchillian in character, and I do not expect that to change any time soon.

@ Mark Pyruz

The same Churchillian character you have in the past defined as arrogantly rejecting generous peace offerings in turn for more damaging war?

I'm just curious, I know what you are implying, but wouldn't the economic sanctions leveled against Iran be better compared to lets just say for arguments sake to the embargo leveled against Castro's Cuba?

Although I'm not a fan of Winston Churchill you are insulting our intelligence when comparing this great British war time leader that saved the civilized world from the clutches of the NAZI empire to a bunch of uneducated anti Iranian mullahs.
