Iran Nuclear Program Discussed in Istanbul

A meeting of technical experts from Iran, the EU and the six major powers, which started on Tuesday in Istanbul, ended early in the morning on Wednesday. The participants reportedly explored positions on a number of technical subjects regarding Iran’s nuclear program. Russia said some progress were made during the talks. The meeting was aimed to prepare the groundwork for a meeting of senior nuclear negotiators. No dates were set for the next round of negotiations.
