Avicenna Organ Transplant Center near Shiraz, under construction

Ambitious new medical center dedicated to organ transplants taking shape at Sadra, a new town near Shiraz

Two tower cranes working the construction site in this view, behind them in the distance more cranes busy erecting dozens of new residential towers.

People are selling their organs to buy a loaf of bread in Iran.Maybe they will go to this place and sell their organs over there?

It may be the most advanced in the region and would play an important role in bringing in foreign and Iranian specialists from the diaspora. Iran already hosts a substantial number of international medical conferences and seminars and these world class facilities showcase the sophistication of Iranian medicine and sciences. Thanks Mark, this is very impressive and good for Iran.

Very Nice. That's what we need in Iran. More independancy. I heard there are over 4,000 Iranian physicians in US only. If only a small percentage of them would spend a few months a year in the country to update our collage students about medical advancements and technology in Iran, that country will not need any help from outside. We are smart people and we can do it. Our past history is our proof.

Very Nice !
Now more people can sell their kidneys!

Makes a difference from zionists who just steal them.

Anonymous said...

No, more people can be saved from your buddy Zionist organ harvesters who steal it from Palestinian children along with their land.

perhaps the medical wizards of Iran can figure out how to install a first-class brain in the semi-intelligent head of Khamenei

Anonymous said...

Maybe we can finally build a brain for Nuttyahoo!

Anonymous said...

Sharon needs a completely new brain as well as he and the Zionists are in eternal coma in the region

Anonymous said...

Iran should put in a high level of security at the centre, it's bound to attract the attention of zionists who are world leaders in body snatching.

Anonymous said...

You mean nutty nutanyahoo.

Anonymous said...

Nothing Yahoo is a complete moron, I was alluding to Ariel Sharon who went into a coma as Hezbollah kicked the Zionist mutts in 2006 and has not come out of it since.

Anonymous said...

The reason the Iranian people are selling their organs is because the regime is stealing the countries wealth.Covering the regime's failings with the word "zionists" is just moronic.

Anonymous said...

Hey guys this is an Iranian site.Let Palestinians and their Arab brothers sort out their own mess with Israel.Iran has enough problems as it is without getting involved in their mess.

Anonymous said...

Buy a newspaper buddy boy, it is the Zionist mutts that threaten Iran every day with "attacks". Where have been for the past 35 years? Your cave is not hooked to even CNN/FOX? LOL.

Anonymous said...

it's the Iranian mutt by the name of Khomeini who started the threatening, ol' buddy. his sorry ass in dead and Israel's doing pretty well, far better than the theocracy the old creep started.

if you don't remember how awful a creep the old mutt was, ask Mr Rushdie.

Anonymous said...

And why do you think the "Zionist mutts that threaten Iran every day with attacks","buddy boy"?
It's because the Islamic regime has chosen to make enemies for Iran and then act as the "victim",like the little haramzadehs they are.LOL!

Anonymous said...

Not a satisfactory or rational comment. It seethes of crass hate and frustration. Sorry not even worth responding. Come back when you grow-up. Thanks.

It seems advancements in IRI make not only nuttyahooo go nuts but rather all other illegal settlers in palestine.
Go Iran go!!

Last time I looked it was israel and its western buddies who were threatening iran for pursuing its legitimate rights and what it considers to be in its national interest, unlike the bootlick pahlavi who put the us and israels interests ahead of irans

The government is building a state of the art medical center and you say they`re "stealing the countries wealth"??,I guess you`d be happier if it was the shah squandering it like an "arab despot" on fleets of sports cars and weapons the nation doesnt need

Anonymous said...

Anon 3:49 PM, an excellent point. Clearly the anti-Iran people are against providing health services for the people. They do not care about what most people need. They care more about their political dogma.

Anonymous said...

Anon 3:49 PM...In the past eight years alone the regime has been "squandering" or stolen Tens of Billions of dollars from the Iranian nation. They are not doing any favors after stealing so much they owe it to the Iranian people! As for those "fleets of sports cars",its all in the motor museum in Tehran which will make a "arab despots" little brats hide their faces in shame!

"weapons the nation didn't need"

The most foolish comment ever! Go and say that to those brave Iranian pilots who flew the F14 Tomcat and the F4 Phantom if Iran didn't need those aircraft, which gave them the edge over Saddam's air force. And are still being shown off today by the thievish and squalid regime of liars, rapists and murderers.

Anon 3:42 PM..You people make me laugh with your silly diatribes!
I guess it's OK now for the mullahs to make Iran lick the dirty soles of China and Russian drunkards? Tell me smarty pants, where does it say that seventy five million people have to pay the price of mass unemployment and hunger because of some stupid old git who wants a nuclear bomb? This regime puts its own "interest" ahead of Iran's sonny boy.

You do realise that before he was removed the shah planed to buy,and paid for, hundreds of f16s[300] and f18s[200],aegis destroyers and even had insane dreams of aircraft carriers all weapons iran didnt need [and never was refunded for],just the sort of thing "arab despots" like the ones in saudi arabia do.It seems you dont have a problem with the pahlavis squandering billions on weapons and luxury goods but when the government builds a state of the art medical center its theft

You blew your credibility the moment you started ranting about "iran wants a nuclear bomb"
better luck next time mr hasbarah

Anonymous said...

Anon 8:24 AM....After that initial purchase, the deal was that the F16s and F18s would be built in Iran in the early 1980s through transfer of technology. What ever the case, the present regime in Iran still use those weapons with pride. So much for your claims of "squandering".You ask any Iranian which is not a minion of the regime and they would say that the present regimes behavour has vindicated the previous government. And when it comes to "insane dreams" and "squandering" the nations wealth, look no further than in the regimes fanatical ideology of creating a greater Shiite empire through murder and mayhem in Iraq,Syria and Lebanon at Iranian peoples expense. None of the well worn out propaganda you babble is effective anymore. So go and take a dive.
Also when you write any family name start with a capital letter!

Anonymous said...

Anon 8:31 AM..Just because Iranians don't agree with the policies of Ali Geda and his ass licking cohorts doesn't mean we should be called "mr hasbarah".You suffer from Cerebral Hesbollahi Syndrome.

Oh,I`m sorry did I insult your beloved shah by not using a capital for his name, how rude of me >rolls eyes<
The f16s and f18s would have been assembled with components like engines and avionics coming from the us and why would iran need 500[!] fighters in addition to the airforce it already had,as for this "greater Shiite empire" what have you been smoking?,the only people wanting some sort of islamic empire are the sunni wahbists with their caliphate, they`re also the ones doing most of the murdering in the region be it iraq, syra or lebanon. The only one babbling tired propaganda here is you with your love for pahlavi and his [thankfully] defunct dictatorship

Anonymous said...

AnonymousAugust 23, 2013 at 9:51 PM
When you go around repeating tired hasbarah crap like "iran wants a nuclear bomb" what do you expect to be called?.If you have what you feel are legitimate complaints fair enough but you only destroy your own credibility when you start repeating rubbish like "iran wants a nuclear bomb"

This one is for all you bache basijis who are in denial.

Anon 11:12 PM

You should be asking that question from your "rahbar" what he is "smoking".Because it is the defective and despotic regime that has dreams of a greater shiite empire.
You seem to have a fixation or a complex as regards the Pahlavi's.Since it was you that mentioned them in the first place.
Transfer of technology involves "assembled components" in the begining then with gradual manufacturing and technology taken over by the licensee. As regards the "500 fighters".In case of war, haven't you heard of attrition?! As I said before, your babbling is nothing but pure propaganda and spite towards Iranian nation and its old culture. There is no buyers here so go and take a hike.

Anonymous said...

Of course the regime wants a nuclear bomb! Why else is it that the regime has developed the delivery system? Why is it that the regime is producing plutonium at the recently opened IR 40 reactor? Why else is it that they produce uranium for non existent reactors when Russia is supplying the fuel for the only Iranian Russian built reactor? Looks like you're the one who is full of rubbish.

Anonymous said...

You would know all about rubbish, mr hasbarat. Simply repeating hasbara propaganda does not make it true or anything other than hasbara. Why is it that the zionist occupation is pointing hypocritical fingers at Iran (a member of the NPT), while refusing even to join the NPT? Why else has the zionist regime has developed a clandestine nuclear weapons programme and delivery system?

Anonymous said...

I have nothing but contempt for pahlavi unlike you who seems to worship him,you were the one who claimed that the government was squandering billions,I could think of no better example of someone who actually squandered billions than pahlavi, but when he does it evidently you approve,as for the idea that you would need 500 fighters because of attrition just who do you think iran was going to be fighting, the soviet union?.The only one babbling propaganda here is you with your love for pahlavis regime and your hatred of irans democratic government, you may wish to turn the clock back to the 70s but most iranians dont

Iran has had ballistic missiles dating back to the iran iraq war, irans ballistic missile forces rely on numbers and conventional warheads, thats why iran has the largest ballistic missile force in the region,by your logic saudi arabia must want the bomb as well because it has "delivery systems",as for iran producing its own fuel thats because it has to have surety of supply as the russians have shown repeatedly that they cannot be trusted,Iran also wants to build more lwr`s and needs to be able to fuel them. The ir40 is still under construction and stems from the time before iran mastered enrichment by centrifuge when a back up program was needed,it will take over from the trr which is nearing the end of its life,it will also serve as a prototyping and testbed for the larger 336 megawatt Darkhovin Nuclear Power Plant, sorry mr hasbarat you`re going to have to do a better job than that
