Iran: Bin Laden in Washington!

Iran’s leading conservative daily Kayhan has repeated a claim made by the Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad that Osama bin Laden is in Washington, being hosted by former president George W. Bush!

“Our president said that Bin Laden is in Washington, because he has warm relationship with former president George Bush. They worked together in oil industry. But Ben Laden has never worked with Iran,” Kayhan said in its article [Kayhan, 6 May].

Mahmoud's comments were funny. Stephanopoulos became so flustered; obviously he has no experience with very typically applied persian wit. (He should have trained at my persian family's dinner table!)

Bravo Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Ahmadinejad has become very confident and polished in sparring with the usual ignorant Zionist controled US "media" intent on demonizing Iran. He gave a good witty rebuff to George Stephanopoulus (maybe can shorten his name so I can spell it, whose devious inference about Bin Laden being is Tehran was so silly that even a novice reporter would have looked stupid asking such a naive question. The illiterate fanatic Wahabbi's (US darlings from Saudi Arabia) are Iran's worst enemies, so why would Iran even let them near its borders let alone give them sanctuary? In reality all these so-called Bin Laden, Taliban and terror groups operating out of basketcase Pakistan are US creations along with the monthly quota of "terror" false flags to scare the US popualtion and keep them paranoid and Islamophobic. It would probably be more credible believing that this mythical (Simorgh)like Bin-Laden character is living in Washington or Florida, or perhaps in George Bush's Crawford ranch helping him clear the Texas tumbleweed. The global ignorance of US "media" is simply embarassing, no wonder the scared average American is so gullible.

This post is about Kayhan's coverage of Ahmadinejad comments, not in a satirical way, but in matter-of-fact coverage. Kayhan is the leading conservative paper in Iran, and its editor is a Khamanei confidant.

I understand, but the tabloid US media has done its own usual muck-raking with the Ahmadinejad GMA interview with baiting George and taken many things out of context. Kayhan is indeed quite conservative and close to the government's viewpoint. I think Ahmadinajad did very well on the Charlie Rose hour too.

Bin Laden is definitely not in the US. Iran and Ahmadinejad understand the power of the media and by saying he's in the US, they are just using the media again to confuse the masses who really don't know whats going on in the intelligence world.Bin Laden is definitely either in Pakistan or Iran. i am willing to bet money on that. ALso, Ahmadinejad says that iran is not afraid of sanctions. if they are not, then why are they globetrotting and dining world powers to stave off sanctions? talk is cheap and actions speak louder than words!

AIPAC Media stooges have started to suggest This to be the next trivial comment of Ahmadinejad, leaving out the question that led to the mocking

Again, the purpose of this post was Kayhan's coverage of Ahmadinejad comments. Kayhan had not considered his remarks as mocking, and reported it on a matter-of-fact basis. And last checked, Kayhan, and its editor-in-chief Shariatmadari, were not AIPAC stooges!
