Iran Halts Oil Sales to Spain

The Spanish Say They Stopped Buying Months Ago

Iran has cut oil exports to Spain and would halt sales to Germany and Italy as well, a moved dubbed as ‘counter-sanctions’ by the Iranian media.

“Tehran has cut oil supply to Spain after stopping crude export to Greece as part of its counter-sanctions," Press TV reported, citing unidentified sources, adding that a similar move was being considered for Germany and Italy [Press TV, 10 April].

Spain's biggest refiner, Repsol, said after the Iranian announcement that it had already replaced Iranian crude with Saudi Arabian oil months ago. "No crude out of Iran for us since January," said a Repsol spokesman [Reuters, 10 April].

Earlier today, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Iran could withstand a total embargo on its oil sales for several years.

Well done to Spain for replacing Iranian oil with more expensive Saudi oil. Now those enlightened Saudis have got the Spanish by the cojones maybe we'll be seeing a return of the Moors to Al Andalus, lol!

World population is rising and energy consumption is rising. Noway Irans Oil will stay afloat. West is redirecting its market and so is the East.

The Press is not truthful, forget them. They are only repeating whats supposed to to promote or demote speculations for pricing. (you and I are paing the price at the Gasstation)

Iran is doing fine , but could do better without sanctions. But it is as it is, must go through it.

Time is on Irans side, in 5 (maybe more or less)years the ME will look differently. to Irans advantage

Yes,time is on Irans side and in five years time(more or less) there will be no Islamic republic and Iran will be free from the likes of you and your bloodstained mullahs which have sucked Irans blood like leaches for over thirty three years of religious tyranny.
This is as sure as the earth orbits around the sun that this blood thirsty theocracy will sooner or later go into oblivion.
And I will be here to laugh at people like you, wait and see.

You're being over-optimistic. The regime will go away eventually, but I doubt you will live to witness its downfall.

Enlighten me about your "doubt" regarding my lifespan and the downfall of the Islamic regime within the next five years or so.
As I said earlier I will not only witness their downfall, but I will laugh at the supporters of the Islamic tyranny when it happens.
Keep your ill-founded doubts to yourself when you don't know what you're talking about.
