Current model American cars find their way to Iran

Even after decades of sanctions, a number of American cars still find their way into Iran. Pictured above are Iranian registered Ford Mustang, Dodge Charger and Chevrolet Corvette.

It appears there remains a market for these cars in Iran, that would be better served for American business interests with the repeal of applicable sanctions.

Another example of Iranian dishonesty, from our local Iran propagandist (who lives in the United States, because he's not crazy enough to believe his lies). In this case, we have four pictures of Chevrolet cars (and not even the latest models), from a company that sold well over 200,000 cars in the United States last month -- meant to prove that the U.S. has some financial incentive to drop sanctions against the Iranian regime. Both funny, and sad.

And they claim they cannot get medicines because of the sanctions! What a bunch of charlatans.

Khare
only few exemplar which are beyond any oridnary iranian salary are presented only in the kish island
nobody makihg hier lis or propaganda
nobody ask to drop car sanction against iran.

There is no such thing like car sanctions, if you have money you can order any car from any place in the world, if you pay it will be propmt delivered

Medicines are in short supply because of sanctions, while you show envy for the few people who can afford expensive cars.

sorry but the cars on the pictures don't have any iranian plate!

No,medicines are not in short supply because of sanctions ologh. It's because of the network of thieves and liars that is occupying the country that it is in short supply.

In the U.S., a dumb redneck with a low society job buys a Hemi chrysler. In Iran, it's the dream luxury car affordable only to connected individuals with special government permits, and access to subsidized financial services and exchange rates.

I sincerely hope the NSA is tracking the pro-Iran Iranian Americans on this site, and planning to "reward" them by deporting them to their beloved country!

Thats because the government has slapped huge import duties and tariffs on cars like this, quite a lot of countries do this for various reasons,if some rich tehranglese wants to squander their money on machines like this then good for them,it just means more money in the governments coffers, but I imagine that even without sanctions and import duties the market for cars like this in iran would be very small

Nothing to get exited about as these are shitty cars anyways. No one who knows anything about proper cars will waste his money on these American piece of Junks when you can buy European Premium cars.
Having said that, I totally agree with your comments about the corrupt bazaris and aghazadehs who are dumb enough to import these cars from the Persian Gulf countries.

It is sad how anti-Iran people have to envy others who can afford something expensive, while they can not.

Is a point of the above article that, if we will have the Western system in Iran everything will look much better ?

Anon 3:40PM

In a country where I was born, I had two weeks of vacations at the sea or at mountains, in each of the most years of my life there. and where employers provided room with 3 meals a day, and where I did not care to much about cars because I could buy my travel ticket couple minutes before departures and nobody searched me or required me to come hours before departures.

Because I heard to much of the Voice of America, I traveled to that "land of the opportunity", where I was fired three times from jobs, under pretexts of their "freedoms to retaliate"...for expressiion views during my private times.
I was also searched at public places, and fingerprinted numerous times.
When my place was burglarized, police declined to investigate...

I have lost my health in that "land of opportunity".... and the dentists learned on me, how to cash big money for their inferior services..

If someone will tell me that 99% "Americans" have no that kind of problems, I would ask, why the US pretend to help minorities or single people like Saharov with their complaints, and where there is a movement in the US, which used to carry label that 99% (people) are against.....something.
