Tahrir Square II

Thousands of people have occupied Cairo’s Tahrir Square, the epicenter of the Egyptian Spring, demanding the military give up power as promised nine months ago. “We want to bring down the Field Marshal,” protesters are chanting.

The police backed by army units have brutally attacked the protestors. More than 30 people have been killed, and 1,500 injured, in the past 3 days.

This was bound to happen after the fall of their last leader because the military is part of the previous regime therefor must relinquish its power base while still be able to keep order and be honest in the eyes of the people.

The US and Israelis are trying to hijack the revolution and thsese new unrests are there to avoid it.

They want closer ties with Iran and away from Israel but elements in the Egyptian army simply want to change the guard to the US advantage. Thus keeping their own positions.

Many of these army elements are on the list now for executions later when the revolution actually materializes.

Remember the French, Russian and Iranian revolutions ??? it took a couple of years to materialize.

They want closer ties with Iran????

I thought they want freedom and to be able to vote for who they want to????

Those thing would be 180 degrees different from what Iran does...NO????

So why would they want to be like Iran....I mean North Korea.....wait....I mean Iran....is there any difference between Iran and North Korea????

is there any difference between Iran and North Korea?

Yes. NK starve its own people and had to rely on food aid from outside. Iran is self-sufficient and does not depend on any anybody.

North Korea gets food aid and starves it's people.
Iran gives aid to terrorists and free oil to Syria and starves it's people.
Which one is worse?

Iran gives aid to terrorists...

You call them terrorists, I call them freedom fighters and giving aid to them is no different than the Americans giving aid to Israel.

... and free oil to Syria

That's ludicrous. Why would Iran give free oil to Syria when Syria has its own oil supply? Syria even export oil to Russia, China, and European Union.

Which one is worse?

I'll give you a hint: Click here

So you call terrorists freedom fighters?
Why don't you stop living in the West being a hypocrite and go and live with all the freedom these terrorists can provide you and then we see who holds the freedom title when you come back from your coma.

Iran gives hundred of millions of dollars to Syria so that they could prop up the regime and keep their combined anti Israeli campaign going. But all that will come to an end soon and Syria will be free from the yoke of Assad and fascist regime in Iran.

An idiot who blindly assumed that I'm living in the West. For your info, I'm living in Lebanon and I have enjoyed the company of my freedom fighters on several occasions. Of course, they will not extend hospitality to you given your attitude toward them.

No pal the Iranian hospitality will end when the Syrian regime collapses and the fascist Islamic dictatorship in Tehran is gone.
We don't need your terrorist and burdensome hospitality.Iran has been carrying you people for to long while our people are living in poverty and need.
Go and receive your free meal ticket from elsewhere and stop interfering in Iranian affairs.
