Britain Orders Closure of Iranian Embassy in London

Iranian Diplomats in Britain Given 48 Hours to Leave the Country

The British Foreign Secretary William Hague today ordered the immediate closure of the Iranian Embassy in London and gave the Iranian diplomats 48 hours to leave Britain. The move came a day after the British embassy in Tehran came under attack by a mob that ransacked the embassy and another British diplomatic site in Qolhak, in northern Tehran. Britain has closed its embassy in Tehran and evacuated all its diplomatic staff from Iran.

Good..Now Iran can have Qolhak back and use it as a national park...Britain can go back to debt ridden, austerity hit UK...They won't be missed and I'm sure they feel the same about Iran...

Glad this abusive relationship has come to an end...:)

A complete disgrace by a nation that claims 2500 years of history. Thirty years of this barbaric ideology has made this nation culturally and economically bankrupt. I mean where are they heading now?

The number one goal of Iran's embassies worldwide is to perpetrate terrorism via Iran's hijacked twisted version of Islam.

Hopefully most countries will now see this and close Iran's embassies.

If the United States ever allows Iran's involvement in 9/11 to see the light of day, the population there will be at least 90% in favor of the destruction of Iran's leaders and ability to wage wars and terrorism.

As I said in previous posts Iranians of dubious characters will no longer be issued with visas from Britain and their Airlines will no longer be permitted to operate or refuel in Britain or the EU.

Good for the Brits!
The Iranian government is acting like a spoiled, out of control, child with no understanding of intentional norms and the sanctity of foriegn embassies as sovereign territories.
As one diplomat once put it, it's like playing chess with a monkey.
