On the eve of a crucial nuclear meeting between Iran and the major powers, Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Secretary Saeed Jalili said in an interview with Le Figaro that Iran is "serious" about the talks and they should focus on “cooperation based on common grounds.”
Jalili, who is also Iran’s chief nuclear negotiator, added that the talks scheduled to take place in Istanbul on 21 January could be the beginning of a “new process” if the Group 5+1 adopts a “strategic view” of the talks.
“Iran is serious about the talks, is pursuing the negotiations based on common grounds, and has a strategic view of the talks,” Jalili said [Le Figaro, 14 January].
By “strategic view” of the talks, the Iranians refer to their desire to link any nuclear agreements with the West to resolving other outstanding issues, the so-called Great Bargain.

By "strategic view" these links encompass past Iranian compromise offers of a multinationally owned and operated nuclear fuel bank on Iranian soil, a security guarantee, fulfillment of NPT terms regarding transfer of nuclear power technology, etc. etc.
But the million toman question is ? does the hubris filled 'west' masquerading as the self appointed "international community" really want to talk? Iran can walk on water but it will make no difference to US/Zionist hostility.
Iran must show its success to neutralize this anti Iran movements.
Iran must show the fuel it claims to have produced and show it to be working.
I am sure when success is there, the western media shall not reflect it, but still an accomplishment.

What a pretty nuclear scientist during PressTV transmission, her spouting these words "it is important to know what you cannot do then what you can do", I must visit Iran!
Once convinced that “the point of no return” has been reached, they will probably back off and act more maturely to reach a workable compromise. Unfortunately our Mullas have no idea how the public opinion in the west could be manipulated and engineered in one way or the other to serve our national interest. They have got a lot to learn from the Israelis who have perfected the art of manipulating the western public opinion by creating the most sophisticated PR machinery known to man. Right or wrong, the western leaders rely on the media and on polls to stay in close step with ‘public opinion’ to remain in power. The Ashtiani affair is a good example of the immense damage done to the Iranian national interest by a misguided judge of a Mulla who gave (or intended to give) a verdict of death by “stoning” to a murder. The front page of the two of the most read newspapers here in UK had the picture of Ashtiani, fuelling the public hatred towards Iranians and Mullas – not knowing that ordinary Iranians are by nature as compassionate, tolerant and civil as they perceive themselves to be.

Evils are those who make weapons of this nature public domain so that other evils could learn how to use them to target civilian infrastructure and even life saving machineries. Read the following excerpt from the article:

Don’t get too excited by this rather sensationalized New York Times article. The IAEA report on the rate of enriched fuel production during 2009-2010 is a better indication of the damage done - it was minimal if any.
