I always thought these falling Arab states were actually free and Iran was supposed to looke up to them.
All lived free and happy under the flag of the US armed forces.
All are/were US Allies, is that a statement ??!! ( I love how the US changes its position on an hourly basis loool)
Actually what all the recent uprisings in the Middle East have in common is their anti-autocratic nature. The state of economy in Egypt and in Libya are much different than the economies of Tunisia and Bahrain. The foreign alliances of the regimes are also not the same, Libya is the case in point. The common thread is autocratic regimes headed by a strongman with claims to lifelong rule.
