UAE PM doubts Iran is seeking nuclear weapon

"Iran is our neighbor. They are Muslim, and we lived next to each other for thousands and thousands of years. I don't believe that Iran will develop a nuclear weapon.

-- Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum

According to Press TV the Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum has ruled out the possibility that Iran's nuclear program has any military dimensions and has quoted him posing this question:

“What can Iran do with a nuclear weapon? For example, will they hit Israel? How many Palestinians will die? And you think if Iran hits Israel, their cities will be safe?"

Gentlemen, you cannot be serious.

Are his questions/comments bait?

Psyop?

Having the bomb changes the calculus of everything. Even if a test never occurs.
(Israel?)

Ironic, He presents his comments, but takes delivery of the bunker busters?

Poorly crafted Psyop.

The IRGC are zombies, but they are not totally stupid. Everyone wants to claim themsleves some distance from the event... "it was not our idea, don't retaliate"

The background to all this is that Dubai is one of few remaining commercial gate left for Iran, perhaps these semi-positive comments are all that IRGC needs to use UAE for its lucrative smuggling operations, as opposed to using oman's ports.

What can Iran do with it? Well, for starters, it can use it for deterrence purposes.
