5,000 Centrifuges; Going 50,000

Director of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization Qolam Reza Aghazadeh was quoted by Iranian media as saying Iran has “5,000 working uranium enrichment centrifuges.”

Aghazadeh also talked of expanding the number of centrifuges to 50,000 within the next five years.

My friend you always say negative things about Iran. a good reporter is the own who only gives the true information and let the people decide what the reality is themselves!

Dear Economist,

This two-paragraph post is a straight forward reporting of what Iran’s director of Atomic Energy Agency said in Tehran on the number of operational centrifuges and the number of centrifuges the government of Iran intends to build in the next two years.

If you have any objections to the centrifuge announcement, you probably need to address it to the government of Iran, not to this blogger.

However, I sincerely thank you for reading this blog and leaving your comments.
