MiG-29 Fire at the 2009 Sacred Defense air show

An IRIAF MiG-29 caught fire upon its return to Mehrabad airport. Taxiing to its park location, the right engine burst into flames, causing extensive damage to the plane's fuselage. The MiG-29's home base was Tabriz (TFB-2).

Still, it's a good show for IRIAF. All of us knowing that most of Iranian Fighter is not well maintain due to embargo (directly or indirectly). Making F-14A Tomcat flyable after 30 years is a hug successfull for Iranian Aero industries.
