Iran Crude Price Hits Record High

The price for Iranian heavy crude, the country’s main export commodity, hit a record high of $98.5 per barrel in April. Last month the same heavy crude was trading at $89.5 per barrel [Press TV].

Iran earned over $7 billion in month of March from the sale of crude oil, a monthly record. Iran has the world’s second largest reserves of crude oil after Saudi Arabia.
