Update: 'Dreamland of Padideh Shandiz' in Mashhad, under construction

Rapid progress at the "Dreamland of Padideh Shandiz" site at Mashhad continues to be observed, defying generalized assessments of an Iranian economy effectively "demolished" by sanctions and poor management.

Commercial section of the complex appears complete, with stylized pavement, walkway and landscaping also appearing complete.

Last month a large turnout observed for the opening of the newly completed ice skating rink, located within the "Dreamland of Padideh Shandiz" complex in Mashhad.

Update: Isfahan International Convention area, under construction

Progress plainly visible at Isfahan International Convention Center construction site since UOI previously observed 22DEC13. Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) panels appear fitted the complete circumference of radome.

Hezaro-Yek Shahr complex at Tehran, under construction

Aerial view of another ambitious, active construction site in Iran: Hezaro-Yek Shahr (1,001 Cities), situated in Tehran. This tourism destination envisions Iran’s largest shopping mall, three hotels, mixed-use towers, an Islamic studies center, an art center, a recreational theme park and an indoor, year-round water park.
