Rouhani charters Iran Aseman A340 for UN trip
President Rouhani departs Tehran aboard a chartered Iran Aseman Airlines Airbus A340-311 bound for New York City and the United Nations General Assembly.

Ahmadinejad: Iran “Could Have Behaved Better”
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said at a dinner in
New York that Iran was open to concessions on its nuclear program.
He added that Iran “could have behaved better.” (Monitor, 25
September)
Ahmadinejad made the comments at a gathering of academics and students
at a New York hotel.
“Iran
has made mistakes, Iran could have behaved better,” Ahmadinejad said. “We are
ready for transparent dialogue…. We are ready to help to eliminate negative
mindsets.”
President Ahmadinejad will address the U.N. general assembly on
Wednesday.
