Iran’s Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi said today in Tehran that Iran would examine “seriously” US allegations of an Iranian involvement in the plot to assassinate the Saudi ambassador to Washington. The foreign minister's statement was the first indication that Iran might be open to cooperate with the investigation.
“We are prepared to examine any issue, even if fabricated, seriously and patiently, and we have called on America to submit to us any information in regard to this scenario," Salehi said [IRNA, 17 October].
Meanwhile, the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said today he had passed correspondence about the US allegation of Iran's involvement in the plot to the UN Security Council.

Congratulations to the NATO security forces, helping advance an environment where people of Libya may begin the move toward freedom...
Our resolve, if necessary, will be made known to both Bashar al-Assad, and Ayatollah Seyed Ali Hoseyni Khāmene’i
I have advocated for a more intelligent and creative non-violent program to effect change, however, the intransigent nature of Syrian and Iranian regimes may require force, and with the most extreme precise prejudice... not theater scale, rather individual scale.
What has happened in Libya is a different situation but the Iranian people what answers and are civilized and I know when the turn of Khamenei and his henchmen comes Iranians will take them to a newly formed court and put them on trial for crimes committed against Iran.
The judgement will fit the crime.
Anon 7:33--I agree entirely. execution by the job is not the way to go.
a fair trial where Khamenei has a full right to a defense and a fair and not excessive sentence.
a trial where the charges aren't sorcery or being an enemy of God and no possibility that the guy will be sentenced to death by stoning.
