Iran Parliamentary Delegation to Visit Syria, Lebanon


An Iranian parliamentary delegation will leave for Syria and Lebanon on Saturday to discuss the latest crisis and assess the situation on the ground. Chairman of Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee Alaeddin Boroujerdi heads the delegation.

A spokesman for the delegations told reporters in Tehran that the delegation will travel to Damascus under any circumstances, even if a military attack is launched. (IRNA/Press TV, 30 August)

  1. I'm sure they will be welcomed with open arms by the majority of Syrian people,which is 80% Sunni.Dare they go to those places which have been bombed by Assad's genocidal forces.

  3. The Iranian delegation is already in Syria as reported by SANA and Al-Manar. This is good morale boost for President Assad who is successfully fighting off the US/Zionist Wahabbi axis of 100% plus evil. Obama already has eaten enough crow.
