Lavrov Praises Relations with Iran

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said today in Moscow that Russia and Iran have every opportunity for “a new, more advanced relations.”

“We appreciate our good-neighborly and friendly relations, our countries cooperate constructively in almost all directions… we have and intensive dialogue at the highest level,” Lavrov said at a news conference with the visiting Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif. (AFP/Gulf News, 17 August)

"Today there are all possibilities to fill the Russian-Iranian relations with a new quality, even more advanced one… in the spirit of agreements that have been made in order to resolve the Iranian nuclear program," Lavrov added.

Lavrov did not offer any specifics on the meaning of the “more advanced” relations with Iran or the agreements made with the country in order to resolve the nuclear issue.

  1. All talk and no substance. With "friends" like these who needs enemies?Since Peter the Greats time Russia has proven itself to be no friend of Iran.Instead of the regime concentrating its politics on countries which borders it up north they stick their heads up Arab Israeli affairs. And we see the result how Hammas have paid Iran back through treachery. These policies that the islamic occupiers have imposed on Iran are policies which is of no benefit to the future of Iran.

When it comes to "barking in vain" we have seen how long the islamic regime has been "barking in vain" for 36 miserable long years.
