Israel Has No Knowledge of Iran-U.S. Talks - Netanyahu

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said today he didn't know about any U.S. plans to hold bilateral talks with Iran to resolve the standoff on Iranian nuclear program.

“Israel doesn't know about these contacts and I can't confirm that they actually have taken place,” Netanyahu said. “The best way to resolve peacefully the question of Iran's nuclear program is through even tougher sanctions and a credible military option,” Netanyahu added. (Reuters, 21 October)

Netanyahu also accused Iran of having used talks with world powers in the past as a ruse “to drag its feet and to gain time to advance its nuclear weapons program.” He said that in the last year alone Iran had enriched thousands of kilograms of uranium.

“I don't see any reason why they wouldn't continue in that same way if they open up talks with the U.S.,” Netanyahu said.

  3. I think that the US & Israel will be willing to try their E-bombs soon, nothing better than live target testing, also Tac-N's will dirty up Iran's nuke sites, render them useless for quite some time.

Iran's Syria/Leb thing should soon provide the op needed.

    Good Luck to all!
