‘Lightening’ Response to An Israeli Attack - Khamenei

Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said today that any Israeli attack would be answered with a “lightening” response by Iran.

"Should they take any wrong step, any inappropriate move, it will fall on their heads like lightning," Ayatollah Khamenie warned in a speech marking the 23rd anniversary of the death of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, the leader of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
"The obstacles enemies are creating in our path won't have any effect. Sanctions are ineffective. Sanctions can't stop the Iranian nation from moving forward," Khamenei added.
"The only effect these unilateral and multilateral sanctions have on the Iranian nation is that they deepen hatred and animosity toward the West in the heart of our people," he said.

  1. This is the type of Fang-display that is needed to dissuade the Beast. To avoid WW3 such words must be followed by military tests - explode a thermobaric bomb and capture it on film; launch the Fajr reconnaissance satellite on time (May 23rd); reveal the true number of your Kilo class submarines; etc.

    2Cold.
P.S. the word verification is getting ridiculous

  2. That oppressive tyrant shouldn't be talking on behalf of the Iranian people.
He like Assad is a criminal and is answerable to the Iranian people.
He knows that Israel has over 200 nuclear bombs and can easily neutralize his threats. But instead he and his criminal regime are trying to force the US and Israel to attack Iran so that his gangster regime can be saved from its downfall by the nation.
The Iranian economy is in ruins.
Workers with no skill are being imported from China and that despite of Iran's huge unemployment.
Chinese imports have destroyed the Iranian economy and laid off its workers in the thousands yet you have smart asses who claim that Iran's economy is booming.
The country is in a deep black hole and ruled by the forces of darkness who have no value for human life but stone.
Then you have their dirty little cretins spread like a virus through out the internet sites which propagate the regimes lies and try to put down the true Iranian patriots(without any success)they are a bunch of disgraceful little scum.
But it will be OK in the end because they and their leadership will be soon rotting in hell.
    That I promise.

Really!! Iran has a better jobs market?!LOL!

Then what are you doing living in the West then? Better hurry and go back.

Iran has only one full time job available and that is to provide thugs for Khamenei.

No Iran isn't Asia and is in the 13th century.China and Japan are as well as countless others in the 21st century but Iran is bottom of the heap no thanks to IRI paranoid and stupid policies.

Passport? You call that useless piece of lavatory paper a passport? LOL!

  7. 'Iran's Economy Ranked 17th Worldwide'
    Feb 09 2012

Given an eight-fold increase in Gross National Product (GNP) since the victory of the 1979 Islamic Revolution, Iran's economy ranks the 17th largest in the world based on the statistics released by the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

According to an IMF report posted on the government's website Iran's economy ranked 17th in the world in 2011 with its Gross National Product standing at $930 billion(almost 1 trillion), IRNA reported on Tuesday.

Statistics released by the IMF indicate that Iran's economy have increasingly grown in the past 33 years, occupying a position among the world's biggest economies.

Previously, Iran ranked as the 21st biggest economy in the world but it advanced to the 17th place in 2011, leaving behind Saudi Arabia, Poland, Australia and Argentina.

According to IMF, the US came first with GNP worth $15,000 billion(15 trillion). China, India, Japan, Germany, Russia, Brazil, Britain, France, Italy, Mexico, South Korea, Spain, Canada, Indonesia and Turkey occupied positions from the second to 16th respectively.

Australia, following Iran, ranked 18th with gross national product of $918 billion.

  8. It really does not matter how bad or good the leader of Iran is, At time of foreign threats, we stand and survive together or we fight each other and die. Shah or Akhoond does not matter. The Iraq war should have thaught us that lesson, If we were as united as when the Russians or British took big chunks or our land and nation then we would have been a stronger nation today.

  10. So mat,why Iran isn't in the G20?
You know why because Iran is no way near the top 18th economic power.
Just go and live in Iran and you will see why.
You can fool some of the people some of the time but you can't fool all the people all the time.

  11. Last time I checked, the IMF ranked Iran @ 25, not 17.

mat tends to posy nothing other than what comes from Iranian propaganda sources.

If he's willing to publish a link from the IMF showing the the IMF says something rather than an Iranian source claiming something to be from the IMF, mat might be less silly.

(and, yes, Mr Uskowi, the word verification is growing too difficult for those with lees than good eyesight)

  12. israeli attack??? In the history of man, Israel has never attacked Iran or any other country unless they were provoked first. If Iran gets attacked, it's only because of their own ignorance and stupidity.

  13. That's because mat does not live in Iran and plays second fiddle to Press TV.Iran is bankrupt.

You're correct about mat.You said the IMF ranked Iran at 25th but I thought at least 29th and that is optimistic.
Turkey has the same population as Iran yet they have nearly double GDP.
And that is despite Iran's oil.

  15. Israel's days are numbered. And Europe is bankrupt.Iran will be world economic power soon. China singapore and India is reviewing Iran's Application for Shanghai Corporation Membership. Iran has Observer Status in (SCO)as we speak. Hate the leader all you want, but you got to admit that the He is doing a good job! for his Country.
