US Deploys Second Aircraft Carrier to Persian Gulf

The U.S. Navy announced today that it has deployed a second aircraft carrier, USS Enterprise, to the Persian Gulf amid rising tensions with Iran over its nuclear program. The deployment of the nuclear-powered USS Enterprise along the Abraham Lincoln carrier strike group marks only the fourth time in the past decade that the Navy has had two aircraft carriers operating in the Persian Gulf at the same time.

You know as well as I that your beloved mullahs would like nothing else but a war to save their sorry asses from the plight that the theocracy is in.But to your dismay that war won't come to save your mullahs from their impending downfall.

In a statement released last week, Reza Taghipour, the Iranian minister for Information and Communications Technology, announced it plans to establish a national intranet within five months in an effort to create a "clean Internet," according to an International Business Times report. "All Internet Service Providers (ISP) should only present National Internet by August," Taghipour said in the statement. "] Iran= North Korea Ver 2.0

That's the funny part about it.Yet you have a few of these morons on this blog that claim "the mighty Islamic republic" is a super power and the aircraft carrier is a "sitting duck". This shows their level of understanding of military subject.

  10. 'MEASURES TAKEN TO COUNTER US MISSILE SHIELD IN PERSIAN GULF: IRAN. CMDR.
    Mon Apr 9, 2012 5:37PM GMT

An Iranian commander says the US plan for installing a missile system in the Persian Gulf region does not worry Iran as it has already taken the necessary preemptive measures to counter it.

“The Americans have for a long time harbored plans to provide a missile defense [system] for the Zionist regime [of Israel],” Commander of the Aerospace Division of Iran's Islamic Revolution's Guards Corps (IRGC) Brigadier General Amir-Ali Hajizadeh said Monday.

He said while Iran is not concerned about the plan, it regrets that the financial resources of the regional countries should be funneled toward providing for the security of Israel.

“The US and Israel seek to establish security for Tel-Aviv with funds from Arab countries,” Hajizadeh said.

US officials have frequently said it is a US “priority” to help the Persian Gulf littoral states build “regional missile defense architecture.”

Iranian officials have repeatedly stressed that the follows a completely defensive strategy and have pointed out that Iran is not recognized as an aggressor.

    - Either you are ignorant of the facts, or
    - You are aligned with regime

ZTE and Huawei have provided the regime with all necessary gear in IMS subsystem control to allow for packet flow inspection all the way to top level domain blocking- in fact, the regime has already used this technology against popular uprisings to control access to social media... and identification of specific users - "for further processing" as a result, both companies have agreed to scale back sales to regime until... well. I'll stop here
