Iran’s Nuclear Talks Resume

Iran and the six world powers will resume technical talks on Thursday in Geneva on how to implement the November 24 interim agreement on Iran’s nuclear program a week after Tehran broke off the talks protesting U.S. move to blacklist a number of Iranian entities for violation of current sanctions.

Iran’s deputy foreign minister and nuclear negotiator Abbas Araqchi said the expert discussions were set for an initial two days but might continue into Saturday and Sunday if required. (Fars News Agency/Reuters, 19 December)
